Privacy Policy

ScoreMySite ("we", "us") is operated by Caleb Gross. This policy explains what information we collect when you use scoremysite.dev, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Websites you score. The URL you submit, plus the publicly available text, code, styles, and a screenshot of that page.
• Your email address. Only if you request an in-depth review, so we can send it to you.
• Payment details. Paid reviews are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we receive the payment status, amount, and email.
• Basic technical data. When you score a site or request a review, we record your IP address, approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. We use this to understand usage and prevent abuse.

How we use it

• To score landing pages and write and email the in-depth reviews you request.
• To show scores on the public leaderboard when you choose to add your site.
• To publish example reviews and rankings of publicly available websites.
• To process payments, prevent abuse, and keep the service running.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Service providers

We share only what's needed with providers that help run ScoreMySite:

• Vercel (hosting, plus cookie-free page view and performance analytics) and MongoDB Atlas (database).
• OpenAI (generating scores and reviews from the page content).
• Stripe (payments) and Resend (sending emails).
• Microlink and thum.io (capturing page screenshots).

Public information

Scores you add to the leaderboard, and reviews of public websites, are visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Data retention

We keep scan results and review records for as long as the service runs, so links and leaderboard entries keep working. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to remove your site from the leaderboard or published reviews. Email contact@scoremysite.dev and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

ScoreMySite isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
